We can’t praise John and Jaime of Caring Transitions enough! 🤗
We needed a storage unit cleaned out that had a lot of my mother in law’s stuff in it. She passed years ago and we had been putting it off because it was such a daunting task. Well, once I reached out to Caring Transitions, Jaime called me back and took time to explain the entire process thoroughly and answered all my questions. Jaime and her husband John made the estate sale simple, every step of the way. They handled everything, from sorting and cleaning items, to the marketing and photography for the online auction and even hauled away trash and cleaned storage unit! We didn’t have to do anything! Fees were very fair and we even got a check back in the mail for a little over $1,000 😆 We highly recommend Caring Transitions of Lutz and Land O’Lakes!!

Since moving to the Lehigh Valley four years ago, I have purchased items in the CTBids auctions at least once a month. They are a great organization who help elderly clients to transition to assisted living and other downsizing options, so it seems like a way to help people declutter and move on as well as a way to obtain some interesting and useful items at reasonable prices. Staff is always friendly and professional when I travel to a site for pickup. I look forward to many years of purchases from their auctions and highly recommend them to others.

Caring Transitions is amazing! A friend of mine from OH recommended the business to me and I'm so happy Emily and Trevor opened one here in Albuquerque. They took such great care sorting through everything and putting together the auction, which was a great success. They then made sure the house was totally empty and swept clean so I could have painters in right after everything was moved. My family and I couldn't be happier. Emily and Trevor are wonderful people and provide an amazing service.

Andrew, Alan, and the team were a pleasure to work with. They were extremely patient with us as this whole experience was new to us. Our Mom was moved to assisted living recently so we had to have the house of close to 60 years emptied. The team had options to sell, donate, and discard what memories that we could not physically keep. They worked around our schedule and were reasonably priced. Definitely recommend.

I’ve purchased from other caring transitions locations before with good experiences. I purchased what I thought was a plain brown bag at auction. When I came to pick up I received a fake Prada bag. They intentionally hid the logo and any mention of a logo in the description. When I arrived the woman checking me out said, oh didn’t they tell you?” To which I replied, “tell me what?”. She went on to say that they could not authenticate it (duh, it’s a horrible fake) and chose to cover to logo at auction. I never would’ve purchase if I knew what the bag really was. Not to mention it is ILLEGAL to sell fake bags. You clearly were aware of what it is and took steps to hide it. Disgusting behavior.

The people who run the estate sales are incredibly rude. They don’t say a single word to you when you come up to the front. You have to know to put your name down, even if nobody tells you to. We left and came back 15 minutes later after putting our names on the list. When I asked “what’s our spot in line” the woman at the front said “I don’t know, I don’t have the list” and then proceeded to say that they might have already called our name when we weren’t there. I tried to ask for clarification so we wouldn’t just stand there and waste our time, but nope! No response. So basically they told us “idk, stand around here for an hour and find out”. Not to mention they were also rude to buyers. If you’re gonna run a service that liquidates people’s lifetime of belongings, I’d recommend being able to properly communicate with… idk… people? If you see this company’s sign in a neighborhood, avoid it.
